Match the licence to the work
Door supervision, security guarding and public space surveillance have different licence-linked routes. The broader door-supervision qualification may support a wider range of roles, but the right choice depends on the work you actually intend to do.

Training does not equal licensing
A course provider awards or supports the qualification process; the SIA makes the licensing decision. Identity, right to work and criminality checks sit outside the training result.

Prepare for employment screening
Employers commonly need a traceable work and education history, references, identity evidence and the right to work. Gather accurate records early and explain gaps honestly.
